seperate users to do UD and stock posting

Hi Guru,

My current project requires QA department to do UD, warehouse to do stock posting.

Meaning -- QA people can enter / change UD, but can't do stock posting. Warehouse people can't enter / change UD, but can enter stock posting for an inspection lot.

How do we achieve this?

Q_UD_CODE Using Usage Decision Codes controls the authorization of doing the UD

Q_STCK_CHG Change Stock Posting Fields in UD Transactions controls the authorizations for posting stock.

You can have each one of them in seperate roles with the same tcode QA11.

Please use t code PFCG .

2.Give the role name for whicgh you want to have this restriction.

3.Go to Authorisation tab.

4.Click on Change authorisation data.

5.In the next page go to authorisation object Q_STCK_CHG Change Stock Posting Fields in UD Transactions.

6.Give the required authorisation.

I think this will help you out.

Hi,

It can be only controlled through user IDs. Ask your basis consultant to create two user IDs with required permissions.
