Adapter Engine does not show in communication channel

I try to create the new communication channel . I have all the parameters but adapter engine does not show any parameters in dropdown.

In the parameters tab I have the following:

Adapter Type : File

Transport Protocol: File System(NFS)

Message Protocol: File

Adapter Engine: << Does have anything in the dropdown>>

Go through the doc.. refer page 19 and 20.. Check if the steps are followed.

Somthing is not configured correctly in SLD.

As specified in Weblog can u check once again.

the technical system and business system were not created in SLD for XI server.

OR

The technical system and business system were not created properly in SLD for XI server.

Also

Can u refresh the cpa cache,

also can u run SLDCHECK tcode and check the result

This could be a problem that I am guessing. Since I donot have access to place the .tpz file , I asked the Basis team to do that. I waiting for that.

I was awaiting for the result of SLDCHECK, also cpacache.

Solved by applying the Note 764176 - Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD contents...
