Possible to achive nearly 100% availability for PI ??

Hi all,

is it possible to achieve 100% availability for PI espacially during import of new SP's (without any downtime and PI keeps operating as usual) ?

If yes, can anybody tell me, where to find information about this ?

Install PI with High Availability environment for better availability for PI. No one could actually assure 100% system availability. Worst case could be power outage. You can't be sure of anything.

Not by far.

Worst case would be tsunami 2.0, global earthquake, meteor crashing, alien invasion etc.

Power outage is to be expected as normal.

Obviously the XI system will be up while doing Importing of new SP's but it is recommended to not to do any transactional activity during this time as system is highly loaded during this activity. This you can achieve by different ways like controlling transactions through stopping all CC's.
