ESS Enhacement

Hello,

I have requirement to change ESS screen for personal data (Hide couple of fields and remove mandatory sign from some of the field). How do I identify Web Dynpro used for it and also what is the method for modification ?

Hi Evgeny,

I can't see Own Data link after service-Specific setting. Do you mean go to Pesonnel Information ? My requirement is to copy UK screens for other country and then remove some of the fields from the ESS.

Pritesh,

check the iview properties of personal data and you will come to know whether WDA or WDJ is used and name of the DC(if it is java) or name of the application(if it is WDA)

I guess it is a WDJ application.if yes please move it to corresponding forum

Hi Bala,

If you want to change ESS personal data settings you dont have to do any coding. First check if you can do it in IMG. It is very recomended to do it in IMG.

Go to IMG Personal Managment -> ESS -> Service-Specific Settings -> Own Data.
