Hello experts,
we have currently a CRM 4.0 ISA running and do our developing with Eclipse and a CVS system. We plan to go to CRM 2007 or 7.0.
The current issue in our planning is wether NWDI is required or not:
I get different answers from various sources, some say it is required, some say it's useful but you can work without it.
Is it necessary to have it, or can we continue to do our development without it?
Any help is highly appreciated. Maybe someone knows a link to a source with a precise statement, or maybe someone uses the CRM 2007 Webchannel without NWDI?
Thanks and best regards,
Timo
Timo,
It looks like you will need NWDI if you are to customize SAP delivered code, though sometimes you can get around it.

This one refers to a set of tutorials for CRM and NWDI:
