Alerts not comming to Inbox

Hi All,

I am configure Alert configuration. When i am executing the report RSALERTTEST i am getting the message in Alert inbox in RWB. But when ever a message is getting failed, it is not triggering mail. but i can see the failed message in monitoring. In Alert rule i have given * in all fields and i checked...

but the mail is not triggering.

I run the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER

there i am getting one error" Alert not send due to "CREATE_RFC_DEST_FAILED" Creation of RFC destination failed"

what may be the reason...?

1. In tcode SALRT1 check whether RFC destination is NONE.

2. In sm59, check if CentralMonitoring Server rfc destination remote logon and test is successful.

The RFC destination must be using user with role PIRWBUSER.

Yes In tcode SALRT1 RFC destination is NONE.

There was no RFc destination earlier, now i created one RFC destination. whether we need to select this one in SALRT1..?

Hi all,

Problem solved. It is because of wrong password of PIRWBUSER, (in connection test the RFc destination is showing success message, but authorization check is failing. remote logon also it is asking for password again. we need to give password CAPS and numeric digit.)
