Hi anil,

Create Quantitative MIC with incomplete copy model and check control indicator Documentation required. Assign MIC in inspection plan and maintain No of decimals as 4, Unit of measure as mm2, Lower limit as 240 (i.e. 12 x 20), Upper limit as 241.6025 (i.e. 12.05 x 20.05) and in the long text of MIC maintain specification as 12x20 to 12.05x20.05.

At the time of RR, Enter the value, which you get after multiplication and maintain actual size at Inspection short description for the MIC.

Hope this solves your problem.

Check it with the client. I think you have no other option.

Hi Anil,

Can you make two separate MICs. I mean to say '+20X12 +0.05+' can be interpreted as 20 0.05 and 120.05

Hi Venkat and Anand..

thanks for your replies.

well, My client doesn't want to make it into two mics as the characteristics is 1 and not interested to maintain for 2 characteristics.

If there is any alternative then pl revert.
