Hi,

1)what are the various implemetation tools used during each stage of a project.

for instance i have heard that during realization stage in order to do config, the consultants work on some kind of software package wherein one person sends requirment to another consultant through this package (email or anything ) and the receiveing consultant configures in development server...

2) what is baseline config and delta config

3) what are various registers maintained for MOM etc

Hi there,

There is no hard & fast rule that all companies use the same kind of processs methodology. It varies from company to company.

1) When you need ABAP development to fulfill any requirement, then as a functional consultant you will release the fucntional specs (specifications). There you will mention what the requirement is, how you r going to fulfill the requirement, what ABAP code needs to be touched (like MV45AFZZ or SAPMV50A for eg) & what changes need to be made.

As a functional cinsultant it is your responsibility to give the ABAPer the field mappings & other basic details. Then he would work on the func specs by preparing the technical specs in which he will put the actual code what he has developed etc.

2) Baseline config is something which you initially do to fulfill the requirement. Delta config is the actual config that is developed based on the base line config. For eg to implement consignment sale, you will 1st start from defiing the company codes, sales orgs, order types etc. Then you will define consignment process, item catg etc.

3) What do you mean by MOM?
