How to define a sales area

Dear all,

when I " Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas", I occur the following error message :

Define <2100/10/11> first as a general sales area!

Message no. V2127

Diagnosis

You want to define allowed sales document types for a sales area which is not maintained as a common sales area. This is a sequence infringement of Customizing activities.

where I can define the 2100/10/11 as a general sales area? please help me.

dear wu,

i'm quite sure u have already set up the sales area at enterprise structure level.

and when when ur trying to ssign the required sales documents to said sales areas..

u need to do the following steps

combine the sales orgs,

combine dist channels

and combine divisions.

assigns the sames sales org to it say 2000 to 2000

dist channel 10 to 10 and division say 11 to 11 and

than go for assignning ur sales doc types to the required sales areas.

(Path: spro-- sales & dist-sales-sales doc header--assign sales area to sales document types)

and if u have not defined ur sales areas in fisrt place... than u need to setup ur sales areas in ent structure level.

Sollution to your Query:

Step 1. Follow this Spro-Img-SD-Sales-Sales Doc. Header- Assign Sales Area to Sales Doc.Type- Doublie click on

A. Combine Sales Organization - here enter your Sales organization against your sales organisation

Ex: 2200 to 2200

B. Cobine Distribution Channel - here enter your Distributio channel against your Distribution channel

Ex: 01 to 01

C. Cobine Division - here enter your Division against your Division

Ex: D1 to D1

D. then double click on Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas - here enter your

Sales orgnation + Distribution channel + Division + Sales Document Type

Ex: 220001D1+OR

Step 2. Go to SPRO - IMG - SD - BASIC FUNCTIONS - MASTER DATA -

A. Define Common Distribution Channel - Enter Your Distribution channel against your distribution channel twice (one for Conditions, second for Customer/Material)

B. Define Common Division - Enter you Division against you Division twice (One for Conditions, Second for Customer/Material)

Hi,

In IMG u2013 sd u2013 sales u2013 sales doc. Header u2013 assign sales area to sales doc

Your configuration for combine sales organization, combine distribution channel is fine.

Now do the following setting for your combine division

2200 u2013 11 u2013 11

if your sales document type is ZBJ then your that setting is also fine

and do the following setting as follows.

IMG - SD - BASIC FUNCTIONS - MASTER DATA -

In define common distribution channel do the following setting.

Sales org(2200) Dch(10) DCh-Conds(10) DCh-Cust/mt(10)

Sales Org(2200) and Dch(10) Should be there then change the setting for other to 10 and 10

And in Define Common Division

Sales Org(2200) Div(11) DivCon(11) DivCus(11)

Sales Org(2200) and Dch(11) should be there then change the setting for other to 11 and 11

Now try to create the record it will happen now.

Dear your doing small mistake

Your Assignment Sales Organization well - Ok

Your Assingment Distribution Channel well - Ok

Your Assingment Division is wrong. - not ok

See below

Wrong - (2200 11 配棉 00 通用 ) the correct one is 2200: 11 11

Wrong - (2200 01 色纺纱 00 通用) the correct one is 2200: 01 01

Wrong - (2200 02 染色纱 00 通用)the correct one is 2200: 02 02

(2200 03 坯纱 00 通用)the correct one is 2200: 03 03

(2200 04 OE纱 00 通用)the correct one is 2200: 04 04

Now it will work out

Hi there,

When you define sales org, disct channel & division, then in SPRO --> Entriprise structure --> Assignment --> SD --> Assign dist channel to sales org & Assign division to sales org.

After this setup sales areas. Then you will have 2100 / 10 / 11 as a sales areas. Only then you can assign sales doc types to the sales areas.

Also in OVR1 & OVR2 setup common dist channels & comon divisions.

Then you will be extend the custome masters to sales areas.

Thanks for your kindly help. Yes , I have assigned the distribution channel to sales org., and assigned the division to sales org before I assigne Sales Area to Sales Document Type(IMG->SD->Sales->Sales Documents -> Sales Document header).

This is our data.

assigned the distuibution channel to sales org.:

2200 Sales Org. 001 10 Distribtn Channel 01

assigned the division to sales org.:

2200 Sales Org. 001 11 Product Division 01

I want assign the sales areas to sales Document type:

2200 Sales Org. 001 10 Distribtn Channel 01 11 Product Division 01 ZORH Standard Order

I get the following message:

Define <2200/10/11> first as a general sales area!

As mentioned pls maintain common dist channel & common divisions & common sales areas & then try.
