Inspection Interval Changed for Recurring

Dear Champions,

I have an issue,

The inspection interval for recurring inspection is extended from 180Days to 365Days for all the ROH (Raw Material) as a Business Decision by the Client.

Now I have change the Inspection intervals in QM according to the requirement. Now as per the set data system will calculate the "next inspection date" according to 365Days for all new Batches. But they need to implement the same change for all existing batches, not only for the new batches.

Now to go to MSC2n and change the Next Inspection Date in each looks horrifying job. So is there any trick you can suggest for a safe escape to comply the requirement?

Regards,

Shyamal

Hi shymal

In Mat. master you can increase the inspection interval to all ROH using Mass maint. transaction.

But for exiting batch.

you need to write some program to update the new value ,

it is bit difficult because different batch has differen dates (next inspection date based on prod/recived date)

i think no other choice, build some logic and update the next inspection date

thanks

Dear Sami,

Thanks for the reply. I have already finished the Mass Maintenance (MM17/MASS).

So not worried about any new batch. The question marked stuck on the existing batches only.
