Hello,
I have problems sending an Idoc to r/3
The scenario is as follows.
A file is received in XI. The sender is a business service with party (no business system).
The file is converted to Idoc and send to R/3.
The sender of the Idoc is not a logical system (LS), but a partner with type LI.
I get the error that the sending service cannot be converted to an ALE logical system.
But I don't have a logical system as a sender.
So my question is how I can fill the Idoc control record with a partner(number) and type LI.
I already entered an alternative partner in the settings of the sending party in ID (under identifiers).
But I think this isn't enough.
Can anyone help me with this ?
Regards,
Marco van Iersel

Thanks for the quick answers.
I've got it worling now !
The problem was that I didn't change the communication channel, tab identifiers. Here I filled the sender (serivce with party) and receiver (R/3 business system).
Thanks a lot!
Marco

Hi Marco,
Make sure you have the following things defined in your configuration.
1)Sender Party
Identifier: Same as the Business System for Back end R/3
Scheme: ALE#<Partner Role>#<Partner Function>(for example ALE#LI#LS
Identifier: Partner Number ( same as in R/3 partner Profile)
2) Idoc Communication Channel
Make sure you check the option " Apply control record values from payload".
Identifier Tab of IDOC CC
Make sure you specified the identifiers as shown below
Sender: R/3 Business System
Schema: AlE#<Partner Role>#<Partner Function>
Sender: R/3 Business System
Schema: ALE#LF
Hope this helps.
