office integration with windows vista

when i execute a co report and activate office integration , in the screen is not active the vista button so i can't save the file on my PC.

does exist some setting that I must do ?

We also expereience this problem, Excel 2007, VISTA SP1, GUI 7.10 Patchlevel 9.

We just know definitly that it's NOT a problem of SAP-Authorizations, because the same problem occurs with users havein SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL.

Our Controlling department frequently used this function when it was still available - so we'd like to have it back...

try with patch 11 to see if it helps.

In the mean time we have SAPGUI 7.10 PL11 installed and everything is just fine with the previously missing vista button.

Me working in Office Integration area. You are correct Office button will be missed after you apply Office SP1. We have already raised support case against Microsoft and they accepted it. This issue will be fixed from their side in their next SP release.

I posted an error message and got a very fast reply:

(1) Look up OSS-Note 1258891

(2) "save as" can be reached by <F12> (works !)

(3) Office-Button can be reached by <ALT-F> (does NOT work with me !)

I suppose, you mean patch-level 11 for SAP-GUI 7.10.

Do you have experience with that one? Or do you just guess?

nope, unfortunately, this was just a guess.

when I have similar problems, First thing to do is to update to latest patch level to see if it resolves the problem. this is just basic troubleshooting.

Which "vista button" is not active? I don't get your question...

pardon it is the button on the left part (above) of the screen. when i click this button i can click on save as. this button is nota active.
