Year Specific same Invoice Number Range

Hi All,

I want to create year specific same number range for year e.g year 2008 1 to 10000

then again in 2009 1 to 10000

Dear Sarkar,

Yes, you can define year specific number range as per the requirement.In VN01 you can define new number range and the same u have to assign in VOFA. As you know Invoice number range contains 10 digits, So you make a proper coding for each invoice doc type what should be the number range.

For example 0809-1-00001

FIRST FOUR DIGITS will represent FISCAL YEAR

FIFTH DIGIT will represent SALES ORGANIZATION OR DIVISION

LAST FIVE DIGITS will represent CURRENT INVOICE NUMBER.

In the next fiscal year you just change the fiscal year code to 0910-1-00001

As number range will not create any request Id so you have to do it for each client.
