hi all,

i getting error while conneting server with client pc :

Connection failed:

SQLState: '01000'

SQL Server Error: 53

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (Connect())

Connection failed:

SQLState '08001'

SQL Server Error: 17

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

plz help asap.

its sql2005 issue. Download and install sql server 2005 native client (its on ms pages). You may check it, when you logon to SAP - in server type is in default only SQL 2000 value in combo, after native client instralation will be sql 2005 too.

Hello Rajkumar,

Did you have installed the SQL native client?

Try to set up an odbc connection with the sql server.

Hi Rajkumar,

These errors seem related to SQL server errors and from taking a look at the microsoft knowledge base, there are several articles which should prove useful to you.

I've posted a couple of links in your other thread [; but if you search using those error emssages there are several other articles.

Let us know if you still face problems connecting via the DI API.
