certi. exam on XI

Hi Folks,

This is regarding my certi.exam on XI, i have got trained on xi in my company, now i want to appear for the XI certification exam directly i.e without training from SAP, but one of collegue is telling " in india i cannot go for XI exam, without having exp or training from SAP"

could you please tell me is it true ??

We don't have that restriction/requirement here in the US. I also know of some colleagues who went to India from US (& Europe) to give the Cert exam (w/o taking going for any SAP XI training). So I'd suggest call up the training center in Bangalore & check with them.
