we have removed the logic of business area determination.However when we are trying to raise order with reference to old contracts,the business area is getting copied.Can we do anything in copy controls to stop the business area field getting copied to subsequent sales order?
As per the standard SAp u cannot manipulate business area in the sales order.It will always get determined automatically and no manual intervention.Even 4 your case i tried to explore with transaction variant but in vain.So, the only option which is left i think you have to build up a logic and put the logic in the user exit to make it defaulted in the VBAK-GSBER field.
