activity confirmation and actual cost

Dear all,

Please help me on this issue.

when i confirm the activity, no actual cost occurs.

the message states that the network has no actual cost.

but no detailed information.

could you give me some suggestions on it?

how can i check where the problem is?

Check following settings...

1. Costing Variant Actual is mantinaed in the network header

2. Check whether price is maintained for valid period in KP26.

3. Also check the validity dates in Work Center Costing Tab.

4. Check the valuation variant settings under Activity Types /Process tab in Actual Costing variant with Tcode OPL1

Hi,

Whenever u r getting this message u must be getting a POP UP asking u to check log. Follow the path and check on menu Extras->log->cost calculation.

And post that message or accordingly go with the above posts.

Hi Judy

Have you maintained price in KP26 ? In this transaction you have to use the cost center you have utilized in the workcenter and against the activity type maintained in the activity you need to assign price and capacity for all periods. Once you do this and then confirm you will get the actual cost.

by the way, plan cost of the activity is correct.

i think the work center and cost center is correct.

please tell me other possiblities.
