Sale order against quantity contract error message

Hi Expert,

When I have generated the sale order (T-code VA04) against the quantity contract, system didnu2019t not given message (pop-ups) for Balance qty or exceeds qty. in contract order. But system automatically picks the balance quantity in sale order.

How can generate the error message (pop-ups) in create the sale order?

Hi

While creating sales order with reference to a contract, the system automatically picks the balance quantity. If you doesn't want to create orders for quantities exceeding contract quantites, then you have to configure the field COMPLETION RULE in the Item Category(VOV7) of your quantity contract. If you select B for that field, the system will not allow then user to create sales order for quantities exceeding the contract quantities.

Hi there,

I dont think pop up is possible in standard SAP. This is possible by customizing in sales order creation include MV45AFZZ. If any OR is referenced from a contract, then the system should compare the sales order quantity & the open quantity in the contract. If open quantity < sales order quantity, then the system should popup the message that it is defaulting the open quantity instead of requested quantity.

Also in the SPRO --> SD -> Sales --> Contracts --> Contract data --> Define contract profiles --> In teh action select a suitable action sothat when the contract comes to an end system will send mail to the concerned person.
