Hello SAP guys,
I have a question for you.
I use brbackup an brarchive to make backup of my Oracle SAP database on UNIX. Now I have to make some changes to the way I was doing this. The new way should be something like this:
1. Backup data files with brbackup. It works fine.
2. Backup offline redo logs to another disk using nfs.
With tx db13, profile_1.sap, and parameter u2013s, it works fine. File profile_1.sap indicates directory where to copy file via nfs.
3. Backup offline redo logs from disk to tape.
In command mode the following works fine: brarchive -p initPRDbrarchive.sap -sc -d tape -a -u /.
In literal 3) the problem I have is how to specify parameter u2013a in profile initPRDbrarchive.sap so I can run literal 3) from TX db13. Db13 let me choose u2013sc, -s, -csd, etc., but canu2019t choose parameter u2013a.
I would like to do all these with TX db13, because I can see easily if something went wrong.
Thanks,
Javier.
you will need to play around with tables SDBA*.
