IGS Stopped

Hi All,

Recently we have migrated from Informix to Oracle. Previously we have only single system landscape after migration we moved to 3 system landscape.

Below are the details:-

OS :- Windows 2003 Enterpriser Server 64 bit edition.

SAP:- R/3 4.7 Enterprise Edition Ex.Set 2

Database: - Oracle 10.2.0.2.

Kernel:- 6.40

All things are running fine, there is no issue after migration regarding to data or any SAP program.

Currently we are facing only one issue about the igsgwd.exe stopped on production server while it is running fine on DEV & QA. So I have upgrade the IGS in all three servers, but there is no any change.

I refer notes

718267-Upgrade your integrated IGS 6.40 installation

514841 - Troubleshooting when a problem occurs with the IGS

793474 - IGS does not work under Windows 64bit

Hi Sachin,

I know this is a really old discussion, but I thought I'd add to it as I had the same error after upgrading to a 7.0 system to 7.3 ehp1 and some scn'ing lead me to this discussion...

I tested it by running the command in the E:\usr\sap\BWT\DVEBMGS00\igs\log\wd_sap7bwm.trc:

E:\usr\sap\BWT\DVEBMGS00\exe\igsmux.exe -mode=profile -restartcount=8636
-wdpid=2620 "pf=E:\usr\sap\BWT\SYS\profile\BWT_DVEBMGS00_sap7bwm"

This popped up an error window referring to a missing dll. sapnwrfc.dll . Upon checking the latest igs patch off SAPnet, the file appeared to missing from the SAR file. I found another copy of the file and copied this into the exe directory (same patch level). This resolved my issue.

Kind regards.

Richard

Nothing obvious visible - I would open an OSS call and report that to support. If you use that very good prepared pre-analysis here they either know a solution for it or forward it to the development.
