Adding itemcategory in field catalog

Hi

Can i add "item category" in field catalog so that i can use for determining price.

If i add item category in field catalog what will b the impact in business?

Is it recommended and suggested to do so?

Good Morning,

Please check for the field you wish to add in the structure KOMK or KOMP. You may have to include the field in here.

Please the the documentation under the customizing path:

-> Sales and Distribution

-> System Modifications

-> Create New Fields (Using Condition Technique

-> New Fields For Pricing

click on the paper icon.

The added fields must has name sarting with 'ZZ' or 'YY' so please keep this in mind.

Then they must be filled inside userexit

USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK/USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP

in program MV45AFZZ for sales order and RV60AFZZ for invoices.

Yes you can add the Item category in the pricing field catalog.

Add it to the structure KOMPAZ.

it should not create any negative impacts.

Item category is available as a stadard option, You dont have to enhance the system for it.

Look into table KOMP. if the field exists in KOMP then it should exist for creating the condition table.
