Hi All,
We are planning to upgrade our SAP system from 4.6C to ECC6.0 .Please let me know how to get the informatiom from RFC,FILE,PORT,FTP,EDI Conncetion .any one please advice .
For RFC destinations you can take a snapshot of table : RFCDES
RFC : RFCDES
Table name RFCDES Execute > you will get the list of RFC Destinations ,, Edit > download ,, and you can save it in excel ,,
Else you can tranport tht as well .
1. Create a change request type Transport of copies (Target is the same
source system).
2. Double click on Transport request.
3. Click on change button.
4. Manually include the objects
Program ID: R3TR
Object type: TABU
Object name: RFCDES
5. Save it and Release it.
Later after the system refresh, add it manually to import queue and import
it.
Not sure about the other things .Hope this will help you .
cheers

Hi,,
1) First of all you must Over all new Installation because existing 4.6c is in 620 Kernel and new ECC6.0 is on 700 Kernel.
2) Before doing any upgrades try to contact SAP people by using service.sap.com then by there advice you try to do upgrade.
3) If you are having the sandbox then you can try on that, better don't try in DEV, QAS and PRD with out taking the advise from SAP.
4) One more problem with the Operating system. what is your operating system for 4.6c and for ECC6.0 what will be your Operating System because once the Operating System changes the comparability problem will be there.
