What is the differencess between the Gentran and XI, and why we replace the PI in place of Gentran. And what are the additional advantages of PI than Gentran.
Both are quite stable middleware. I would just say that for organizations implementing SAP in their landscape, it is easies to integrate to other systems/applications using XI interfacing through Idoc/RFC/Proxies.
