In Limit order confirmation Material/Service group XX does not exists

Hello,

This is for extended classic scenario.

When we do confirmation against 'Limit order' (value limit) system flashes an error:

"Material/Service group XX does not exists".

The product categories in SRM do not match the material groups in MM, so a Z table was created that maps SRM product categories to MM material groups.

E.g. - We created a Shop cart for Laundry services (Prod cat code 91) which is mapped to Material Group 60201 in Z table.

When we do confirmation system gives error as "Material/Service group 91 does not exists" as system is checking Prod cat 91 in the backend system and fails.

Pleas let us know if there is any BADI available which can transklate the 'Prod cat' of SRM before sending it to R/3 (backend).

How did you create a PO ( You must did mapping right) if classic or in ecs HOW the PO got transfered to r/3 without product category mapping.

Generally BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI used to map the UNSPC product category to Local Product categories. So you can try this badi for your requirement.

Check up with technical guy. It is possible in ext catalog to SRM. why not ebp to r/3.?
