Hi,

Can you reproduce the problem?

I mean, each time you execute the backup do you get the same error?

If NO -> then, as Juan indicated, the object could have been deleted while it was being read

If YES -> May be you have a corrupted object in your database. Perform a consistency check.

You can increase the trace level of the backup to see exactly what object is giving you the error. I do not think it is TAORA or IAORA, but better be sure

Hello daspeac,

I am not going to decide whether your reply is spam.

But in any case a Recovery Toolbox for SQL Server will be completely useless for an Oracle database.

Did you notice what the title of this forum is, or what this thread is about?

check in tables TAORA and IAORA. you have tablespaces references.

make sure this matches real active tablespaces.

That usually means that whatever object BRBACKUP was looking for was deleted since the operation began.

Have you tried to execute the backup again?
