Transaction DB02- oracle net

Hello All,

System is netweaver 2004s. When I click on DB02 -> Performance -> Additional Functions -> Oracle Net

Path pops up specifying the path for ora configuration files. How we can change this parameter?

But even if I change the parameter tns_admin, i cannot see the chamge on SAP level.

Could you please let me know what needs to be changed so that change in path will reflect on SAP also.

restart your SAP instance after changing environement variables.

Hi,

the path should be as following

<Drive>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile\oracle\

in which sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora from ORACLE_HOME\network\admin should be present in the above directory.

If you have Set the user environment variable TNS_ADMIN to point to the directory <Drive>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile\oracle. Set TNS_ADMIN on all ABAP application server.
