Issue in creating Finish Good Material for specific sales area

I am trying to create a new "finished good material" through "MM01" , after selecting "industory sector" & "Material type" I have also selected the views the next screen comes is for Organization level ,

when I select Plant , sales org & distribution channel and press enter an error comes "Company Code 1000 is not set up for Material Managment".

please help me out.

Dear Shadab,

Please maintain:

SPRO->IMG->Logistics-General->Material Management->Basic Settings->Maintain Company Codes for Materials Management

This will resolve the issue.

Hi,

Plant also should be assigned to the Company code, till then you cann't use it. You are going to specify in the material master what is the delivering plant, if the delivering plant is not assigned to the company code then you get these sort of errors.
