Which Download to upgrade a non-ERP System to 7.01

Hi,

we can find support packages for Netweaver 7.01 (non-ERP) but not the right way to come to NW 7.01?

What is the first and second step to upgrade a PLM System to Netweaver 7.01?

I mean the Netweaver, not the Application?

Hi,

Like any upgrades, you will have to refer to the master and install guide. If you are looking to upgrade an existing NW7.0 system to enhancement pack 1, you can go to service.sap.com/maintenancenw70-->update EhP --> Install guide for existing system.

These guides will help you get all the correct instructions. Hope this answers your question.

thank you. Thats right.

The installation Guide is there. But not Software to download.

There is no EHp1 for NW 7.0 on the marketplace for non ERP Systems.

Specially the section under: what is the release timeline?

I think only Ramp-up nominated customers get the software.

The NW 7.01 SPs are for ramp up customers to access and use. NetWeaver 7.01 is NetWeaver 7.0 with EhP1 applied. It will be avaiable for general release in mid-late 2009. If you are not currently a ramp-up customer for this, then you will need to remain on NW 7.0 in until the EhP is released for general availability.
