A couple of Problems... with XI

Former Member

Hello Community,

i have 2 Systems here

XII and XIK

on XII we worked with incoming messages etc..

Now we have to use XIK for this.

So i maked the exactly same configurations as i see on XXI ( i haven`t configured XII)

But it will not work.

under: MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp

i see messaged all with errors... in the Audit Log always the message appears:

Fehler beim Übertragen der Message zum Endpunkt http://HOST:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry über die Verbindung AFW. Grund: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SYSTEM_NOT_CONFIGURED_AS_XMB:

in English:

Transmitting the message to endpoint http://HOST:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException:

SYSTEM_NOT_CONFIGURED_AS_XMB:

I cannot handle this error... i dont know why this occurs?

I configured the SLD

set technical Systems

set business systems

checked the exchange Profile

restartet the system

checked users and rights

but i dont know why this error occurs?!

Did you have a clue?

Greetings

bjoern

Hi!

Did you configure your Integration Engine on the new system correctly?

SXMB_ADM -> Configurre Ingteration Engine -> Gobal Configuration?

What do you use there? Destination or URL?

Thamks for your help... so i hope i can help you with infos too.

As i sayed i tried to duplicate all the sttings on the XII System to the XIK System.. so what i have

i have in R/3 two clients 001 and 004

in 001

SXMB_ADM -

Role of Business System Integration Server

Corresponding Integ. Server dest://INTEGRATION_SERVER_XIK

SM59 -

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

Target Host hostname.XXXXXX.XXXX.XXXXX.com Service No. 50000

Path Prefix /dir/CacheRefresh

INTEGRATION_SERVER_XIK

Target Host HOSTNAME Service No. 8000

Path Prefix /sap/xi/engine?type=entry

in 004

SXMB_ADM

Role of Business System Appliacation System

Corresponding Integ. Server http://host:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

in the SLD

the technical Systems:

XII on s339 s339 700 Web AS ABAP 11/12/2008 11:23

XII on s339 s339 7.00 patchlevel 109044.44 Web AS Java 11/12/2008 11:27

XIK on de1-s474 de1-s474 700 Web AS ABAP 11/12/2008 13:18

XIK on de1-s474 de1-s474 7.00 patchlevel 109044.44 Web AS Java 11/12/2008 13:23

XII Abap had the following Business Systems:

BS_XII_001

XII_004

XII Java

BS_XII_004

So i tried here also to copy this...

XIK ABAP has now the following Business Systems:

BS_XIK_001

XIK_004

XIK Java:

BS_XIK_004

The Business Systems:

BS_XIK_001

Role: Integration Server

Pipeline URL: http://de1-s474:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Technical System: XIK on de1-s474

Client: 001 of XIK

BS_XIK_004

Role: Appliacation System

Integration Server: BS_XIK_001

Technical System: XIK on de1-s474

XIK_004

Role: Appliacation System

Integration Server: BS_XIK_001

Technical System: XIK on de1-s474

In the COMPONENT MONITORING

at the

ADAPTER ENGINE de1-s474

I always become the message:

1 Kommunikationskanäle haben einen fehlerhaften Zustand

in english:

There is 1 communication channel that has errors

So that was the same that was configured as/on System XII. And i copy it.

Do you need more Information?

Hi Bjoern!

Are you really sure that http://host:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry is the correct value?

What ist the name of your host?

Tip: Always work with fully qualified domain names (FQDN) like e.g. myserver.acme.com

Ensure that the FQDN is also defined for profile parameter icm/host_name_full.

Hi Bjoren

Go to SICF & SMICM and RFC destinations for both the systems and compare for more settings that you need to check.

With this as said above its good practice to use FQDN we have seen issues not using FQDN.

Hey Guys,

thanks for your help..

But the problem was one other...

I had no rights on OS Level with <SID>ADM

Now it works.

Hi bjoem,

I think you have something wrong in your SLD.

Check that you new XI Business System has Integration Server Role and it points to

http://new_XI_Host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry.

Check this configuration in 'Integration tab' of your new XI Business System.

Hope this helps you.

Here is the solution in short

Now i have almost solved the problem that am facing. The problem is that the message queue is getting locked and so the receiving end is not able to receive the messages properly.

But still i need some help as how to avaoid this problem. Now each time i had to manually check the queue of the messaegs ans unlock them.As soon as i unlock the receving end is able to get the file.

For those who want to know the steps i performed

1)Perform tcode SXMB_MONI

2)select "Monitor for Processed XML Messages" and click on execute Function or F8

3)Again click on execute in the next page or press F8

4)Select any one row of displayed XML Messages list

5)select Goto=>QRFC Monitor

6)Select the displayed Queue checkbox and click on "Display Selection"

7)Press F5.

8)Now the Message goes to "Scheduled for OUtbound Processing State"

9)Again we need to release the queue.

8)Then the message arrives at the receiver end.

Can some one tell me how to avoid this manual unlocking of the Queue
