Delivery split is not happening

Hi all,

I have a purchase order, for which i want to create multiple deliveries.

the system is not allowing me to do so.

please tell me what are the different parameters that control the delivery split, like material, item category, document etc.

please help

Hi there,

Delivery split will happen only if the header data in shipping is different for different line items.

For eg: Ship-to party, delivery date, inco terms, shipping point etc should be different.

Check in ME23N --> item details -> Shipping tab. The shipping details of the line items should be different.

Only then delivery split will happen.

i have quantity of 1000 units to be delivered to a customer.

but it is not possible to pack it in the container the entire 1000 units.

i want to split it into 2 deliveries with 500 units in each of them

is this possible??

Dear Hrishi,

Make a delivery of 100 units only in that case. afterwards use tcode VLSP to split it into two deliveries each of 500 units. What u ll get is ,

Original delivery no A 1000 units

after VLSP

Original delivery A 500 units

one additional delivery B 500 units

In this scenario Transfer Order is also involved.

when should I do VLSP? Is it before TO or after.

Dear Harini

Assuming that you refer sale orders as PO, if you want to create multiple deliveries against this, following should be different in any sale order.

- Ship To Party

- Inco Terms

- Shipping Point

- Delivery priority

- Shipping condition

- Transportation group
