Usually for ABAP stacks we generate the file CSMREG via TX rz21.
But how do i generate the file for an JAVA stack.
I need the file for my portal ( Standalone JAVA stack) (Windows 32-bit O.S.)
Please suggest the appropriate method!!!

ohk i'v downloaded the file to the machine.
it was an easy process.
I guess i thought it would be a lengthy one.
The process is the same ..generating it via TX rz21 and save the file in the dir c:/usr/sap/ccms/<hostname>_<instance number>/sapccmsr

Hi,
In portal you can use portal activity report, and also there are many other monitoring tools which portal provides you, under "system administration-->monitoring".
You can use NWA for various logs and needful info.
I dont think you have csmconf file in portal, You can configure the monitoring of your stand alone portal in your abap system then the file would be generated.

Vamshi.
As far as I remember you can generate the file from NWA
