DP Background jobs failing due to ABAP/4 processor: MESSAGE_TYPE_X

DP statisitcal forecasting Background jobs and /SAPAPO/RTSINPUT_CUBE (copy from cube to planning area) in background are randomly failing only for some of the planning areas. When rerun they become success.

The failed job log shows -

ABAP/4 processor: MESSAGE_TYPE_X

Job cancelled

I am working in SCM 5.0. The jobs are part of process chains. Need help to find the root cause and solve the issue.

Is that all the message? By best guess this could be either a DB issue like the system overload or inconsistency in planning area. Really the error message text is not enough to understand what the error is.

Try including a planning area consistency check (/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK or /SAPAPO/TS_PSTRU_CONS_CHECK) before this job.
