Integration of HPM in MRP

Hello

We experienced with serious problem in integration of HPM in MRP.

We maintained Gas Oil material with material type for GAS OIL and maintained gas and oil view:

PRD - Unit of measure group and conversion routine for 15 tepmperature

We entered Planned Independent requirement in transaction MD61 in base unit of measure TON, then run MRP in transaction MD02 for this material and get incorrect result in Stock and requirement list - MD04.

We expected following behavior:

We havn't possibility to choose alternative unit of measure that included in unit of measure group in Gas Oil view!

MRP display issues and reciepts quantities for all MRP object (stock, purchase order, deliveries and other) only is according simple fixed conversion in additional data of material master (Table MARM). When we delete this entry, MRP cannot perform conversion.

When Stock is displayed in MD04 in gas and oil unit of measure it should be equal to stock in MMBE transaction and sum of entries in table MARDO, but stock is different, it displayed according simple conversion rule.

Hi Alix,

Do chk

1. In MRP View for the material type Gas Oil, MRP group for the blending plant its MRP Type / Strategy,

Run collective MD04 to view the materials based PIR. where system checks for the system will

compares Customer Requirements to Planned Independent Requirements according to the strategy

specified in the material master record.

2. Check for the quantity conversion set as u201CAutomaticu201D for all locations plant and stoage locations for

enteries and issues. in customization settings while defining Quantity Conversion. ie in the

customising table OIB02. has to appear during a receipt or an issue. Conversion mode ---> 1

Automatic Debit & 1 Automatic Credit.

Hi Alix,

I hope the Static Quantity conversion is defined correctly in material master records.ie in accordance with the Quantity in Base Unit of Measurement=Quantity in Alternative unit of measurement. check for UoM and conversion Group for the product type.

i think there may be change in the Material master record in Basis data view, Additional data Tab -- Unit of Measure, tab, the Numerator "Y" Numerator for Conversion to Base Units of Measure need to be set correctly. ie number of units of the alternative unit of measure (denominator) that corresponds to the number of units of the base unit of measure...next

Run MD76 , to delete the past requirements, which could disturb MRP results and then run MD05 which displays the static data (it refers to the last MRP Run). so as to get the required latest changes in Demand management,
