Upgrading BW

hi all,

i am upgrading the Bw 3.5 to BI 7.0 . bcoz of poor performance. i would like to know what the Best Hardware Components and Software patches for BW 3.5 and BI 7.0 for the company i know it differ from client to client and the budget for it, but pls let me know with this.

Another thing how can v manage the data load performances in the bw. how can v analyse which process is consuming memory. what the best balance load for this. how v have manage it in the R3 as well as in the BW side like in DB 02 ....

If we r using the BI Accelerator how its going to make the difference while loading and for other thinks

Pls also include if i am have missed any thing..

you should use service.sap.com/quicksizing

you can have a golive checks and SAP can recommend you the necessary changes.

BI accelerator will be very helpful. but investigate this properly. you need a lot of hardware and it becomes costly.
