Wbs Account Assignement

Hi

We have assigned a WBS element (Level 5) to the Sales order line item, but when we do the billing document posting the entry is getting passed in the WBS element (level 4) in the hieriechy.

Can you please inform why would this be happening

this is happening because in your structure you have linked the WBS to sales order at level 5 but have the billing element ticked at level 4

the behaviour is correct as per standard SAP system.

Thanks fo the reply, in this case we have ticket the Billing Element for all the WBS ELements ( i.e. Level 4 as well as Level 5)......

Can you suggest any way to correct this error, so that we could post the Revenue in teh Level 5 WBS Element.

Tried to untick the Higher WBS element but the system doesnt allow me to do so.

hi

kindly check whether billing element tick is market for WBS level4 if it is ther .... remove tht and check again ...
