Hi ,
The G/l account which you mentioned is maintained as a Cost element. So you can enter Sales order number or Cost center at that blank place.

Hello,
Hello,
Go to FS00 input your G/L account 40100001 with the chart of accounts. Click Edit Cost Element button on top, it will lead to cost element creation ( KA01 ) screen. You can use this G/L account as the cost element and save. Controlling area and cost center are the pre-requesists for creating a cost element. If you don't have a cost center, use KS01 to create it.
Once you maintian the cost element, try to release the document. If it is a real time system, take the help of your Finance Team.
