Hi All,

I want to capture the defect cost or Non conformity cost threw QM order. Pl let me know what are various setting required for this and how to do this.

If you want to process quality-related costs in the QM component, the following steps are necessary:

Create a QM order for the management of quality-related costs

Confirmation of the quality-related costs (in the form of activity times) on the QM order

Settlement of costs for the Controlling (CO) application component

QM orders for nonconformity costs are identified as order type QN01 in the standard system. This order type has the following properties:

The order is assigned to a quality notification.

The costs for the order are settled in the Controlling (CO) component.

With a QM order for nonconformity costs, you must:

Specify an account assignment for the order (for example, cost center, sales order or controlling area).

Create the order when processing a quality notification.
