create Proxy Objects

Lately I am having this issue. Trying to create ProxytoFile scenario. Did the following

Admin has assigned the developer key to my account since I was able to create test program in $TMP package.

1) create the datatype, messagetype and message interface.

2) SPROXY. I can see the message interfface.

3) Right click on the MI, click on CREATE. Popup will appear and ask for Package and Prefix

I entered,

Package --- $TMP

Prefix -

---

left blank

Another Popup screen appeared to enter the access key. Following detils on the popup screen.

Enter the key for the object -> R3TR CLAS CO_<MessageInterface>

Access Key ->

Why is it asking access key ?

My Second questions?

How can I assign my object (Message Interface) to $TMP package.

Any help is appreciated

Hey Anand

You are trying to modify standard SAP class starts with C

Give prefix when you create the proxy like Z then it will accept

That is default right, when the client proxy is created it will start with CO_

Anyway let me check

its not default. SAP standard default is C

So dont use C and use Z as prefix you will be able to create the proxy

hey,

all the customized objects starts with Z or Y.

dont leave your prefix field blank but give Z in that field.
