regarding pgi date

hi friends

material inwarded from vendor on 26.10.2008

sales order raised on 27.10.2008

but at the time of creating delivery in vl02n screen

user speicified delivery date 27.10.2008

and actual pgi date 10.10.2008

system accepts and did the pgi and saved the delivery

my question is:

1.how system accepts when user specified wrong pgi date

2.there is no stock on 10.10.2008, then how pgi is done

3.what is configuration setting that system cannot allow to do pgi, if user enter the wrong pgi date

have you check the following :-

IMG > Logistics Execution > Shipping > Deliveries > Define Item Categories For Deliveries.

Check those indicators set for the item categories.

My doubt is , the concept of negative stocks has been activated in your system.Pls check it.

wat is path to check in the system whether negative stock is acivated or not

Hi,

You can check in the Material master whether Negative Stocks allowed for that Material or not .
