Okay.if still you are looking the option of deleting line there is one solution.
Just delete the all contents of perticuler(which needs to deleted) line including the tag column(Where you are /*) and save.if you see again than line would not be seen as blank,you will found it has been deleted.

Make sure that your complete line is empty (Format and Row Text fields), as in picture below. After you press Enter key it will be deleted.
Hope that question was about this.
Update 3.10.2019: You can also delete all characters from both format and text columns, and just save. When you go back it will be deleted.

I am trying to do exactly what you described, but sometimes this does not work even though the line and the format are both empty.
I found out how to solve this little issue: you can double-click any line and then you have the dustbin to click and delete it. 😉 I hope this can help somebody else...
