Installation of BI on Netweaver 2004s

Hi experts,

During the Installation of BI on Netweaver 2004s,

@42 phase (SLDDSUSER CREATION )

The process sustain for 2 days. the below the error exception thrown in the log.

Please share your experience and knowledge to solve the issue.

Could you pls send a link which explains the POST installation of BI on netweaver.

Hi,

Port problem or this may come when you are trying to reinstall again with same Instance number. we have reinstalled with a different instance number and the installation was thru.

Also, try to Kill all the sap process at OS level and then restart the sapinst and continue the old installation

Check out whether mentioned Port is opened or not?

If not then you need to first open that, start SAP thru MMC & then try again.

I tried telnet <ip_address> <SAP Gateway port >

it prompt with the error as "Could not open the Connection to the host with port 3301..

Hi,

For some reason your BI cannot connect to ABAP to create that specific user. Check and make sure that your gateway as well as the system is up and running. Also if your ABAP is up, check and make sure that you are using the correct credentials to connect to abap. Hope this helps.

Hi,

This can be the case , when the SAP SCS is installed and it is trying to connect to the Server.

If the SAP Server atleast one instance is installed, please login to SAP MMC and start the SAP.
