Follow on documents for a shopping cart with two vendors

Hello all, I am working in SRM 4.0 and I have a shopping cart with 2 positions:

First was created with vendor A

Second was created with vendor B.

When follow on documents are created, purchase requisition in this case is created with two positions and with each vendor each position.

Is this the standard behaviour in SRM system? Is created only a purchase requisition but with two positions and two vendors in this case?

Yes, this is standard behavior for requisitions. We are currently on SRM 5.0 and implemented BBP_BS_GROUP_BE to create seperate requisitions by vendor.
