output Diff in Laser Preview and Dot-Matrix View

Iam using a Z242x305 page format which is assigned in both Laser print and Dot-matrix print.Here i created a smartform by using the above page format but when i executed the smartform. In output it shows double line spacing b/w each line in Dot-matrix Printer.when it comes to Laser print it takes the line space as given in Style.

so my problem is how come i get the same line spacing in both printers?

eg:

1) Line space:0.50 cm

Output Preview in Laser Print

Hi

All

*let suppose gap b/w 'Hi' 'All' is 0.5 cm

2) Line space:0.50 cm

Output Preview in Dot-Matrix Print

Hi

All

*here gap b/w 'Hi' 'All' is 1 cm

Hi,

I faced the same problem about the alignment when using the dot printer.

You cannot set the line space or window alignment as you well when using dot printer. The line space or the height of line must be the mutiple of a set value for example 1/6 inch,1/8 inch. It depends on different dot printer.

You can also find sap notes about the dot printer.
