Releasing Budget for WBS Element

Hi,

I would like to confirm if the purpose of releasing budget for WBS is to activate availability control. Also, please confirm if release would need to be done for ALL WBS element levels.

Hello,

(1) In T.code OPS9 you can create budget profile

(2) You can release all WBS at the same time by selecting the Project Def and select status release.

hi ,

Yes u r right releasing budget is for activation AVAC.But again it depends on Hw u configure ur budget profile in ur budget profile in availabilty control if u tivk only on Overall and not on releases the AVAC can be activated in CJ30.

Secondly if u relaes budget at bottomlevel WBS it gets activated to top level WBS also.
