Hi Bahia

This is not an error, it is an information.

Suppose you have created your Sod-to-party "A"in sales area 1000 / 10 / 00.

while creating an order, in the initial screen , you have put sales area as suppose 1000 / 12 / 00.

Now in the overview screen of the sales order, you have put your SP "A" which has been created in the sales area 1000/10/00.

So system automatically change the sales area of the order to 1000/10/00 from 1000/12/00 with an infor mation which you have received.

It is standard sap settings as sales area is determined from the SP.

Thank you all

I didn't pay attention to the fact that SP was not created in the sales area.

Best regards,

Bahia.

Dear Bahia,

This message means that the Sales Area you have entered while creating Sales Order & the Sales Area of the Customer (Sold to Party) are different.

Thus system has redetermined Sales Area to the Sales Area of Customer.

Dont worry about this, this is just a information screen, it is not am error.

If required just extend the Customer Master to the required Sales Area.

Hope this helps...

Give points if useful...

Thanks,

Dear Bahia,

This warning message is inter-linked with Customer Master (Sold-to-Party) and usually occurs when you are creating a Sales Order with a Sold-to-Party, which is not being created/ maintained with the Sales Area (but Company Code for both the Sales Areas will remain the same), you have entered in to the Sales Order Creation screen (VA01).

Just check with the Customer Master (XD02/ 03) of the Sold-to-Party and check Sales Area Data, maintained under Tab: Sales Area Data.

Best Regards,

Amit.

Bcoz the sold to party entered is not extended to the sales area u enterd initially(below sales document type). So the system automatically redetermined the sales area to which the sold to party is created.

Goto XD01 ,extend the sold to party to the sales are u wanted

Hi

While doing VA01 transaction after order type you will be entering a sales area

Then in the next screen you will entering a sold to party

IF the SP is from a different Sales area than what was given in the initial screen then you will get this message

This is what is happening for you

In such cases the sales area of SP takes Priority

So check the sales areas at both places

Hi,

This message comes when you give default sales area while entering ordertype which does not matches with your customer sales area.so customer sales area is determined.
