Archiving issue

Hi

We have archived some table after which some of the data got deleted.from the database and an operating system level file is created. Now when we are trying to access the data from SE16 for the table we are unable to display the data. Can anyone help as to how we can resolve the problem.

I am expecting that there is some configuration entry which is missing.

Hello Deb,

Once the data has been archived (write job and delete job has completed), you will not be able to access the data via transaction SE16. You will need to either create/activate/fill an archive info structure via transaction SARI to view the archived data. Or, via the SARA transaction and the Read programs as was mentioned already.

Go to SARA -> Enter the name object name -> Go to Management -> Check the status of the archiving run. Also you can use the Read button to query the file created.
