Unable to Move View positions in Data Modeler

Hi All,

I have DC's which are already developed by some one. In one of the DC i have lot of components & view for which data modeling has already finished. As i have more views in the data modeler one view is overlaped with another view. When we open data modeler i can see few views but other views are behind those views. When i try to move top views to see other view these views are not moving (Not Editable).

Please let me know what might be the reason not allowing re-arrange of views in data mmodeler.

Hi,

1. Make sure that you have checked out your DC so that you can edit it. If not then first check out the DC and try to move the views.

2. If you click on the top pane in the data modeler, you could enlarge all the panes in there. Just enlarge the panes and then try to move your views.

After i checked out i tried to move, but still it's not allowing me to move positions of views in Data modeler.

Hi,

Goto Navigator view, select your DC and from the context menu select edit-->checkout (exclusive).

Now try moving your views.
