Diff Between Statistical condition and Manual condition type

Hello,

In pricing procedure, when we define a particular condition type as statistical, what is the purpose of it defining as statistical ?

What is diff between manual condition and statistical.

In our pricing procedure of billing doc. we have defined one condition type as statistical. So it is not getting copied from sales order.

If we check manual checkbox, it is getting copied.

Thanks and rgds,

Anand

Hi there,

Statistical condition types will just display in the pricing procedure. They will not be applied anywhere to calculate the pricing.

Manual condition types are those which has to be ebetred manually. They donot have any access sequnece to be proposed automatically. You will not maintain any condition records for manual condition types as they donot have any access sequence.

What I feel is that in your case the condition type is defined as statistical but there is no access sequence / manual condition is not maintained. Thats why the system is not able to identify the condition type. Thats why put the statistical condition type as manual.

Anand,

The statistical column is used to identify a condition type whose value will not have an impact on the overall value derived by the procedure. Cost of the material (VPRS) can be marked statistical.

The manual column is used to identify those conditon type which have to be manually entered in the sales document. These condition types would not be processed automatically.

It must be getting copied when marked as manual because of the copying control configuration. In [VTFL] check what is the value for Pricing type field under the item category.

Hi

stastical condition types are for stastical purposes only that is for information only means it doesnot impact the G.L accounts or update G.L accounts means those values are not carried to G.L accounts

Manual condition types are to be given manually while preparing the sales order means the value doesnot flow from the condition records but have to be given manually These values will carry to G.L accounts

Hi anand

Statistical condition -

It will display in the sales order and billing document but it wont be involved in calculation purpose ( Ex : VPRS)

Manual condition type : -

Once you create a sales order you can enter the condition type value manully ,generally most of the header conditions are manual condition types ,which we can enter manually at sales order level ( Ex: HD00 )
