We just upgraded to oracle patch set 9.2.0.8.0 Now We are not able to start database.

when you upgrade Oracle, this is done with multiple steps:
1. you upgrade binaries (executables) with SETUP.EXE
2. you run DBUA to upgrade the database contents.
3. you may need to run a few SQL requests.
the full process is fully detailed in the upgrade document.
you probably forgot to run steps 2 and 3, and the database will not start because you need to start it using UPGRADE mode.

you didn´t post the database start log but the SAP system log.
did you run the necessary SQL scripts to update the database dictionary? It´s not enough to just doubleclick on runinstaller.
