ALV_grid function codes

Hi,

I have a table displayed in an alv grid.The first 3 columns cannot be modified and the rest of the columns can have their values modified(are editable).Now when i try to add a line through the standard alv grid button,the first 3 columns will not be editable,but i need to enter some data there.How can i catch that event,when the button is pressed,to see where to place my code for enabling those 3 columns?

maybe i did not explain correctly what i meant.How can i catch the event when the "Add new row" from the alv_grid menu is pressed.
